Beyond work

Things that aren't on the CV.

I ski - properly. I'm a certified instructor, and a few years back I climbed Elbrus and skied it back down, which felt either ambitious or stupid at the time, and I'm still not sure which.

Before product I spent a good while running businesses - Switch, a sports-retail brand I ran on a full P&L, then Woogie, a voice assistant for kids back in 2015 that turned out to be years too early. Hoping I won't make that one twice.

Away from the screen I read more history and sociology than tech, and I follow politics across the whole spectrum - which reliably earns me odd looks from both sides.

Two kids, in Bucharest. My daughter just finished a thesis on Heidegger and cyberspace, so I'm still working out where she got the brains.
